What to wear: Weekend Wear

While I’m writing, it’s a rainy, yucky day… and all I really want to do is bundle up under a cozy blanket like this and watch a few episodes of Suits.

“Big Cloud Blanket” from Nuraxi

But as I mentioned in my “What to Wear When Working From Home” post, it’s time for me to pull back that blanket, go exercise, and pull on some big girl pants… with buttons!! This weekend wear outfit is just perfect for those days when my hair says “no-way” and I’m feeling all slouchy, but need to feel fierce. Because once I put it on, I’d have all the energy I need. I believe in the power of clothes. Some believe we are what we eat (and, yeah, I definitely do too), but clothes instantly change my entire being. What I wear not only reflects what I’m feeling: clothes are a mood changer, a mood maker, and in my case, a mood breaker. In this - I’m saying “hey Day, it’s game on!”

Does what you wear change your mood?

Pretty funny because as I’m reading this post I’m sipping coffee and wrapped in a blanket! I love that outfit, especially the hat. The only thing that changes about my style is I don’t wear sandals when it rains, everything else is pretty much the same. I layer most of the time.

I agree. What I wear can be a mood changer for me! If I don’t feel so great I always make a special effort to wear something that gives me a confidence boost. I love your choice of outfit, I would definitely feel good in this. :-)

I don´t like the rainy season so much. In November my favarite plce is my sofa. ;) Your weekend Outfit is great. I would love the hat for my bad hair days.

Yeah, that outfit would get me up and out of the house, feeling pretty cool. The only thing I would change is to wear some short boots. In fact, I was thinking the other day about how boots really change my attitude, so I guess that answers your question!

Clothing 100% makes my mood. I also use my wardrobe to bolster whatever I need for the day: if I need to be tough, I dress tough. If I’m felling bummed, I’ll wear cheery colors. If I need to concentrate, I take out the contacts and wear my glasses. They make me feel smart! Sounds crazy to some people, but fashion can literally transform my mood and give me confidence. You get it;)

Oh my gosh, LOVE It! I’d wear the whole outfit just as it is. And I so want a fall fedora…

Yes, totally agree that clothing affects my attitude! Love the weekend look you put together! If I wore it, I’d feel perky and fun! And spunky!

True enough!! If I feel lazy & tired, I just wear tshirt and jeans even when working in the office. I kinda realize that just now, lol! I heard that Suits is a nice series! :)

I know what you mean. Clothes do make my mood too. When I put on something great, I am super extroverted. I’m glad I’m not the only one feels this way!
This outfit is super cool. I especially like the sweater with the zippers. Fabulous accessories just make it a mix with attitude.
