This past weekend I had the amazing opportunity to go to the #DigiFam conference. In fact, not only did I get to go to the conference, but I had the honor of participating as a speaker, which you know all about if you're following us on Instagram! This was my first time speaking at a blog conference, and I have to say that I am now hooked! I loved sharing my knowledge with others and hopefully I inspired a few of the audience members. I spoke on a panel, so it was so interesting to hear what the other two panelists had to say! Apparently this was a weekend of firsts, because this was also my first time truly traveling alone. I’ve flown alone, but I’ve never been alone once I stepped off the plane. When I travel, I have to be comfortable. However, it is also very important to be confident. This outfit is perfect for traveling - or just those casual days - it’s functional, it’s fashionable, and it’s easy. Easy being the key word.
I have to do a little shout out here to Southwest Airlines. This isn’t a sponsored post, but I have to rave over them. My Dad flies them almost weekly and is constantly praising them - they make his life (and ours) SO easy - and now I will be too. Coming home from the conference, I arrived at the airport very early. So early in fact, that I had plenty of time to catch an earlier flight out of Baltimore. My mom advised me that I should ask at the desk to see if they had any seats available on earlier. So I did, because I’m obedient like that. Anyway, the person that was working at the counter was so nice *super duper nice* and allowed me to switch planes easily. Um, no other airline does this so easily, and I was expecting a huge hassle and to be treated like I was an ignorant teenage girl. But I was treated with respect and got on the flight! So thank you Southwest Airlines for allowing me to get home and treating me so well. I felt almost grown up... and very comfortable!
