Buying a beauty product is like making a new friend. You hope that both bring out the best in you for a long, long time. Birchbox, a service that lets us sample new products from different beauty companies each month, sounded too good to be true... but it's not. How it works: Sign up for Birchbox and tell them a little about yourself. They'll hand-pick samples for you each month and you'll receive them beautifully boxed around the middle of the month (sort of like a monthly birthday present!). You pay $10/month (no shipping, no hidden fees) and you can opt-out of the monthly subscription, or cancel the service altogether.
