I had to break out a trusty LBD because that’s exactly what it is… trusty; although I’m itching to wear my LWD again. Why the LBD? Because, just look at these photos. I’m {gasp!} sitting on steps, I could eat ketchup with abandon without worrying, and I could even accidentally wipe a greasy finger on my dress, which is something a sturdy LBD can take. I wear my dresses and wear them hard, which is why my LBD will never go out of style in my closet and will always be one of my go-to dresses.

This season’s LBD for me is a simple little number by T by Alexander Wang, and it’s exactly what it sounds like — an oversized t-shirt. And an oversized t-shirt screams casual, but I tried to glam it up. I’d have to say, after looking at these photos - this outfit is a fail. Next time you see this dress it will be with kicks, flip-flops, sandals, or ballet flats. Casual is causal and this styling erred on the side of “trying too hard.” On the bright side, and I do believe there always is one, I loved the lighting in these photos from the break in the clouds!
