Step 1: (top left) We find it easiest to divide the hair into 5 sections and put them in small rubber bands. This is not necessary though! Think of your hair as 2 sections: right side and left side. Whatever piece ends up in the middle alternates between both sides. Step 2:  Take the middle of all 5 pieces and the 2 right pieces and work only with these. (top right) Take the outer piece on the right side and cross it over the middle piece on the right side. (bottom left) Take the middle piece of all 5 strands and cross it over the middle piece of the right side. Now you move the left side and do the same. Step 3: (bottom right) Take the middle of all 5 pieces and the 2 left pieces and work only with these. Take the outside piece of the left side and cross it over the middle piece of the left side. Take the middle piece of all 5 strands and cross it over the middle piece of the left side. Step 4: Repeat Steps 2 & 3 until complete!
