adventure through the internet

RANDOM STUFFChloe GordonComment

It’s almost finals week, and you know what that means….

It’s procrastination week.

I’m sorry, it’s just that the internet really is a black hole of information. One link leads to another and I find myself looking at some famous Instagrammer’s best friend’s boyfriend’s cat’s Instagram account.

Because I’m not a selfish person, I’ve decided to share these cool links with you. Mostly because I don’t want to be the only person procrastinating, but also because they really are cool links.

In search of new music? Check out Urban Outfitters best of 2015 playlist.
Speaking of music, DJ Earworm delivers (yet again) with his 2015 mashup.
I have a new muse and she goes by the Instagram name of ZoeLaz. Check her out and and fall in love with her too.
I want everything from this store. It’s literally perfection.
I’ve been using Tumblr increasingly often and it’s turning into an addiction. A healthy addiction, but still an addition.
This photo is gold.
A little reminder.

And there you have it. A few places to start your adventure through the internet. I’m sure they are starting points of some very unique and inspirational paths. Please let me know how your journey turns out.

love you long time,

No Ragrets

RANDOM STUFFChloe GordonComment

The other day I was sitting in a study room with one of my friends trying to get some homework done. There were two problems with this though, one, I was with one of my friends, and two, the work wasn’t due the next day so it wasn’t that important to get done.

So, of course, like any normal human beings, we started chatting. At first the conversation was pretty basic: How was your day? What song do you want to listen to next? Did you see that one boy from that one class today?

But then, somewhere, somehow we started talking about how certain things effect other things. It crazy how the smallest idea can build up to something that can effect the rest of your life or at least change the way you do or see certain things. My friend then asked: "If you could change anything from your past what would it be?

I told her that it was a tough question and I didn’t have an answer yet but I would get back to her. I’ve been thinking about it for the past few days, and I finally have my answer.

In the wise words of Scotty P. from We’re the Millers, “No Ragrets.”

But seriously, I don’t want to change anything I’ve done or anything that’s happend to me (even the not so great things) because who knows what I’ve learned from these events. I truly believe that everything happens for a reason, and without each thing that has happened in my life, I wouldn’t even be close to the person that I am today.

It sounds cliche and cheesy, but if you really think about it, I am exactly where I am because of these things. Sure, I had to repeat sophomore year of high school but then I probably wouldn't even be in the college that I am now. Sure, I've moved 7 times and attend countless schools, but then I wouldn't have the connections with people across the country that I have now. ure, that boy I went on a date with once never texted after the date and who knows why, but now I know it wasn't meant to be before it went too far. Sure, I didn't get the best score on my SAT, but I still got into a great college.

Do you believe that everything happens for a reason?

college as told by gifs

CollegeChloe GordonComment

I'm currently procrastinating doing my math homework and thought it would be fun to create a little recap on my college experience so far  because I’m an amazing person and a kind soul.
I'm telling my story through GIFs (and yes, it is pronounced like Jiff the peanut butter) because nothing does a better job of describing an event more clearly.
You're welcome.

Shopping for dorm stuff:

Meeting your roommate:

First day of classes:

First feeling of homesickness:

First party:

going to the gym after your first party:

when someone in one of your classes reminds the teacher to collect an assignment:

Eating healthy in the dining hall:

First exam:

So there you have it. My college experience so far as told by GIFs. Please leave a comment telling me how relatable and funny this post is so I don’t feel badly for writing this post instead of working on my math homework.

love you long time,
