Who We Are

We’re just your typical Mom and daughter blogging about lifestyle, fashion, DIY, beauty and whatever else catches our fancy. We currently live in Louisville, Kentucky and Denver, Colorado, and have lived in too many cities to count!

Contact us at hello@popcosmo.com for more information.

Here’s what we have to say about us (but here’s what some other folks think about us: Popcosmo press):

Kim Gordon
Age: GenX
Always has: infinite ideas and my glasses
Proudest of: my ability to walk without tripping and to outshop teens
Is thankful for: Will Ferrell
Wants to: be able to draw, dance, and sing
Is afraid of: small spaces and high places
Believes everyone should: ride a bike along a street in Paris at night
Is embarrassed by: my cooking, and that I “borrow” my kids Halloween candy
My style is: ever-changing
Pet peeve: negativity

Chloe Gordon
Age: 17
Always has: a messy room, my phone
Proudest of: the fact that I’ll try (almost) anything once
Is thankful for: my brother making me laugh when I’m mad at him
Wants to: be a good cook, recognize all fonts, hit a hole in one, laugh often
Is afraid of: rats, bad grades, playing softball
Believes everyone should: do something that scares you
Is embarrassed by: nothing
My style is: 50’s classic with a twist of trendiness and a spot of individuality
Pet peeve: kids on leashes

CONTRIBUTORS:

Lisa Yandell, Music Editor
Age: 30-mumble
Always has: my iphone, a sense of humor, at least one zit
Proudest of: the fact that I can hula hoop indefinitely
Is thankful for: designer jeans, Uggs. And my husband and kids. In, um, no particular order.
Wants to: rule the world but I can’t because I might hurt someone’s feelings
Is afraid of: clowns
Believes everyone should: flush
Is embarrassed by: my penmanship (or lack thereof) and buying tampons
My style is: simple, wacky, classic…whatever I’m feeling that day or whatever does not require ironing.
Pet peeve: people who kick the back of my seats and use their cell phones in movie theaters. Don’t make me go get management. I WILL do it.
