A new year brings new trends we are looking forward to, and here are a few things we’ll be paying attention to this year:
Music: New songs and albums by: Nicki Minaj,? Justin Bieber, Miley Cyrus, Ke$ha, Carrie Underwood, Taylor Swift, Kanye West, Mike Posner, and Paramore. We also want to hear Madonna’s new single,? Gimme All Your Luvin’, which will be released before she performs it at the Super Bowl on February 5th. Plus, Rihanna will have a new single out February 14th.
TV: Pretty Little Liars, The Lying Game, Smash, It’s a Brad Brad World, GCB, Frozen Planet, and Luck.
Movies: Hunger Games, The Perks of Being a Wallflower (can the movie be as good as the book?), The Great Gatsby, Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2, 21 Jump Street (a new Johnny Depp? This we want to see!), and The Lorax.
Books: The Rise of Nine? by Pittacus lore, The Statistical Probability of Love at First Sight by Jennifer E. Smith, Insurgent by Veronica Roth, Two Truths and a Lie by Sara Shepard, The Soul by Stephanie Meyer, Clockwork Princess by Cassandra Clare
Fashion & Beauty: Neutrals, white nails, customized flip-flops, more DIY ? projects, jean styles that are in-between jeggings and wide leg, Nicki Minaj MAC Viva Glam Lipstick, China Glaze Hunger Games nail polish, round handbags, and new Target collaborations, nail trends that top nail trends of 2011.
Tech: Angry Birds replacements or updates, Facebook going public, mobile payment (paying with your phone or RumbaTime VanDam GO watch), Siri and Siri clones, Pinning, Tumbling, and new sites!
Health: new Kinect & Wii games, more health apps, healthy food trucks, finally trying CrossFit, running in barefoot shoes that don’t separate our toes, and finding out what can make a cupcake, cakepop or donut healthy! Plus, all the new recipes from our health contributor,? Kayla!
